The Gurmukhi script is typically used to write Punjabi, adhering to the one sound, one symbol rule. The language uses an alphabet and has forty letters.
Gurmukhi script is used to write the Punjabi language. In Gurmukhi, the phrase "the one that comes out of the Gurus' mouth" is used. There are 32 consonants and three vowels in this script. But more syllables are added to create other vowels. For instance, they go by the names Ada Idi Sasa Haha Ka kha Ga gha, etc. Dada is the last letter. The 35 characters in the Gurmukhi script.
